It’s been three weeks and the hoopla is over but the feeling is still there.  It was my big day, my moment, my wedding day!  It was the journey I had been on for the last 10 months- one that took discipline, obedience, daily routines, exercise, perseverance and even sacrifice.  Sounds familiar, you are right synonymous to our weight loss journey!

There were a few big events during the process of wedding planning, getting the photographer, cake, location, date, etc.
First, I did a boudoir photo shoot for my husband to be as a surprise wedding gift.  Now let me tell you, this is completely out of character for me, and I was nervous.  All of  my outfits were ready, I had done my prep, and I was still concerned, am I thin enough, is my body tight enough, do I have a zit, grey hair etc.  Needless to say, the show went on, and it was FABULOUS!  The photo shoot was amazing, it was so empowering to see me in a tasteful yet seductive way.  I can honestly say I was beautiful and the reaction I received from my husband was perfect, lots of “oooohs and aaaahs” with a big grin on his face.

Next, the wedding dress, not one but 2 wedding dresses,  that I wanted to look great in, I was amazed, both dresses looked like they were made for me and they even needed taken in. YEAH ME!, All my hard work had paid off, I looked like a princess for my big day.

I had a shirt made about 3 years ago when I started seriously on my weight loss journey that had a Disney castle on the front with the saying” I live in Onder-land now and I am here  to stay, that was a magical moment when I could wear that shirt proudly a few years back. Now my second magical moment, looking like a true princess on my wedding day!
